In December, SJ and I will have been together 30 years, married 20.
I never in my wildest dreams imagined I’d be able to stay with a woman that long.
Venus and Mars… sometimes it seems we look at life from opposite ends of the telescope, and it’s work- making the relationship successful. But I finally realized when I left one significant other for another, all I was doing was trading one set of “differences” for another. Now, after 30 years, I’m so accustomed to our differences I take them in stride and either ignore them or find humor in them.
Congratulations to you and your Mrs., TJ. I hope one day to sit near a campfire and get to know the two of you better.
