I was thinking something similar when driving across the country earlier this week and thought about a blog post on the topic but someone on facebook summed it up nicely.

Q: What was the most positive result of the “Cash for clunkers” program?

A: It took 95% of the Obama bumper stickers off the road

Well, that may be partially right.
But time spent over the last 10 days with two young Obama voters indicates a lot of folks that had those stickers on their cars have long since removed them.
The next elections will be………. interesting.

One hopes. But have they removed them because of his conservative concessions or because they fear his inept behavior?

I can only speak to the experience I have had with these two young people over the last 9 days…
They realize “Hope and Change” ain’t happening.
They realize now they should have listened more closely to the talk of “spreading the wealth around”.
They now realize you can make all sorts of outlandish promises before you are elected, and then make excuses for why you don’t/cannot followup on those promises when you personally will suffer no consequences for at least four years.
They now realize they should have paid closer attention to “friends” Rezko, Khaliki, Wright, Ayers, Soros, etc..

I think there are tons of others out there that realize what a mistake this has been, who won’t admit to it simply because they don’t want to admit what fools they were in voting for this empty suit.
If these two are any indication, lots of blue states may at least turn purple in November.

    Pop the popcorn.
